The famed Kottakal Ayurvedic College in Kottakal, Kerala is where Dr. Sudha received her bachelor's degree in Ayurvedic medicine (BAM), and the Ayurveda Post Graduate Research Center in Ayurveda, Trivandrum, Kerala is where she received her master's degree (MD). After that, she spent a year in Nagercovil, Tamil Nadu, working with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to practise transcendental meditation. Dr. Sudha has collaborated with the Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha on a research project on tribal medicines funded by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) (CCRAS). Mr. N was Dr. Sudha's husband. In 1982, Asokan, a well-known journalist who had been employed by the illustrious Mathrubhumi Daily (a Malayalam newspaper), moved her base of operations to Delhi. She made this place her home and had a modest solo practise for a short while before founding Ayurveda Kendra in 1990. Later, she opened several centres, formed numerous alliances at the national and international levels, and created her own manufacturing facility in Kerala. In her more than 30 years of practise, Dr. Sudha has seen tens of thousands of patients from all over India and the majority of the world. She is still providing her patients with daily true Ayurvedic healing experiences. View Profile
