Susan Tanner

The Dawood and Tanner Specialist Dental Practice was co-founded by Susan Tanner, a dedicated dentist. After earning her degree from University College Hospital, she accepted positions at Guy's Dental Hospital, where she practiced conservative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontics, and St. Bartholomew's Hospital, where she provided prosthodontic treatments for patients in the maxillofacial department. A Master's degree and admission to the Specialist Register came after that. Over the years, she has performed a sizable number of full arch and short span implant reconstructions for referring colleagues and for patients of the clinic. Her Masters Degree in Prosthetic Dentistry from The Eastman Dental Hospital has provided a solid foundation for these procedures. She collaborates closely with implant surgeons and laboratory technicians, using the most up-to-date technology to develop and build restorations. She has over 25 years of expertise as a specialized prosthodontist and has loved working with her patients to give collaborative restorative treatments. She is particularly interested in implant rehabilitation for those with atrophic jaws because it allows for fast fixed reconstructions even in cases of severe resorption.
