Prof. Mohamed Rela

Prof. Mohamed Rela has over 28 years of expertise in liver transplantation. In 2009, he established the Institute of Liver Disease and Transplantation at Global Gleneagles Health City. It has swiftly grown to become India's largest liver transplant programme. Over 1500 liver transplant procedures have been conducted under this programme since its beginning. He also teaches Liver Transplant Surgery at Kings College Hospital in London. Prof. Mohamed Rela left the Global Gleneagles hospital group to establish the 'Dr. Rela Institute & Medical Centre.' His objective is to solve the local population's health care needs using worldwide standards. He also hopes to give high-end, low-cost procedures such as multi-organ transplantation.
