Prior to working at Manipal Hospital, he spent nearly 4 years as a consultant at Medanta Hospital. He also specialises in adult and paediatric liver transplants. He has performed almost 1000 HPB and GI surgeries, has experience with more than 500 liver transplants, and is an expert in laparoscopic surgery. He has given presentations at conferences throughout the world and published a lot.
