Dr. Sunit Chandra Singhi

Dr. Sunit Singhi is a world-renowned paediatrician and a pioneer in paediatric critical care. In 1992, he created India's first Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with great success. He is a member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM) (FIAP). He has also served as a visiting professor at Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital in Sweden and Boston Children's Hospital in the United States. Dr. Singhi was a Senior Professor and Head of the Pediatrics Department at Chandigarh's Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. Previously, he created India's first Diploma in Pediatric Critical Care. In addition, he has served as President of the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies (WFPICCS).
