Senior Consultant in Child Health, Yoga, and Lifestyle, Dr. Valsaladevi K Clinic for Child Health and Lifestyle Sakalya Dr. Valsaladevi K is a well-known Ayurvedic physician with extensive training in a variety of Ayurvedic specialties. She has more than 22 years of clinical experience caring for patients from various social strata. She can be proud of the outcomes after successfully treating a number of critically ill patients. Her patient list includes well-known national and international figures and celebrities as well as children who are residents of orphanages where she actively participates in social service. She graduated with honours from Shivamogga, Karnataka, where she attended primary and secondary school and comes from a family that cultivates medicinal plants. She graduated from Government College of Ayurveda Mysore, an institution connected to Mysore University, earning the second rank in BAMS. Under the supportive tutelage of the renowned Ayurvedic physician and expert on medicinal plants, Dr. L Vasantha Professor, Government Ayurveda College Mysore, she began her career as an Ayurvedic practitioner. In order to gain experience with western medicine, she worked in allopathic hospitals. She later opened her own clinics in addition to serving as a consultant for various Ayurvedic institutions. She began working for Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd in 2004 and was assigned to oversee the renowned Taj Ayurveda Centre at The Taj Gateway Hotel Kozhikode as the second in charge.She flourished there, advanced to the position of centre HOD, and is still working there as a senior consultant today. She also serves as the Arya Vaidya Vilasini Vaidyasala Kozhikode's child health, yoga, and lifestyle consultant. She is a dedicated writer, poet, blogger, web content writer, yoga instructor, and public speaker in addition to her Ayurvedic practise. She served as Sakalya Ayurveda Management Services' COO and one of the company's founders.
