Radiation oncologist Dr. Sumit Basu has a lot of experience. He has earned his DMRT and MD Fellowships degrees. Fellowship in IMRT/IGRT Techniques from Christiana Hospitals in Delaware, USA, and the Ist I.P. Pavlov Leningrad Medical Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia (formerly the USSR), Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai (Mumbai University). He has used radiation treatment to successfully cure more than 15000 people. arranged a state-level AROIH conference In 2016, ave held an ESTRO teaching course in advanced radiation techniques. For eleven years, he has mentored DNB Radiation Oncology students. He is a Life Member of the National & Maharashtra Chapter of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI). Vice-President of Maharashtra's AROI ESTRO MemberLife Member of the Oncology Group of Pune and the Indian Society of Neuro Oncology.
