Dr M Babaiah

The American Oncology Institute's medical director, Dr. M. Babaiah, is a renowned chief radiation oncologist who has made significant contributions to the advancement of cancer treatment in India. In 1975, he earned his MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, and in 1981, he earned his MD from AIIMS. Additionally, he has finished training programmes at Booth Memorial Medical Center in New York and the Royal Marsden Medical Hospital in London. Dr. Babaiah has won numerous honours for his work with Indian patients outside of his clinical work and leadership in the cancer community, including the Rayalaseema Ratna Award (2009), the Pioneer in Oncology Award (2009), the Nargis Dutt Foundation Award (1992), and the Vaidyashiromani Award (1997).
