Package Description
Circumcision:
Circumcision is a process that is quite straightforward. Using a scalpel or surgical scissors, the foreskin is removed from immediately behind the penis' head. Heat (cauterisation) will be used to stop any bleeding, and dissolvable stitches will be used to bind the remaining skin edges together.

Balanoposthitis
Balanitis is an inflammation of the glans, or the head, of the penis, due to infection or another cause. Balanitis can be uncomfortable and sometimes painful, but it is not usually serious. It can be relieved with topical medication.
Signs and Symptoms
Common symptoms include:
- pain, tenderness, and irritation.
- discolored or shiny skin.
- dry skin.
- itching or burning.
- thick, leathery skin (lichenification)
- unusual discharge.
- tight foreskin (phimosis)
- foul smell.
Disease Causes
The most common cause of balanitis is poor hygiene in uncircumcised males. Other causes include: Genital yeast infection (candidiasis). Sexually transmitted diseases.
Diagnosis
Diagnosis Procedures for Balanoposthitis:
- A swab of your urethral opening to check for STIs and other infections.
- Urinalysis to check for signs of infection or diabetes.
- Blood tests to check for signs of infections, diabetes, and other conditions.
- A skin scraping sample to examine for mites under a microscope.
Disease Treatment
Treatment for balanoposthitis depends on the cause of irritation. Treating the underlying cause often clears up symptoms.
Sometimes, the cause of balanoposthitis is unknown. In these cases, treatments focus on minimizing discomfort during urination or sex.
Antibiotic and antifungal creams are common treatments. Corticosteroid creams may also be prescribed. Making regular daily efforts to wash and dry the foreskin can sometimes prevent balanoposthitis. Conversely, avoiding soaps and other potential irritants is often recommended.
Circumcision: If you have recurring symptoms of balanitis, your provider may recommend circumcision. Circumcision is a surgical procedure in which a provider removes the foreskin covering the penis. Providers recommend this treatment most often for men who have an especially tight foreskin (phimosis).
