BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Padman qualified from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Pondicherry. He is also a Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations in Orthopedic Surgery. He worked in United Kingdom for a period of 10 years in various Orthopedic departments of the University hospitals of Leeds and Sheffield. During this period, he obtainedhis Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) and also successfully passed the intercollegiate exam is Trauma and Orthopedics ( FRCS Tr & Orth) in 2008. As part of his Orthopedic training in the UK, he also undertook basic research looking at biological reaction to conventional and newer polyethylene used in arthroplasty and was awarded the Masters in Research in 2004 from the University of Leeds. He did his fellowship at the Sheffield Children's Hospital after being appointed as National Fellow in Paediatric Orthopedics. During the course of his Fellowship, he was exposed to the full range and breadth of the various disciplines of Pediatrics Orthopedics. He worked as Consultant - Pediatrics Orthopedics at Sheffield Children's Hospital before returning to India in June 2009. With rich experience of 20 years to his credit in the field of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Padman was associated with prestigious organizations like Sheffield Children's Hospital, UK as Consultant-Paediatric Orthopedics & Trauma Surgeon; Max Healthcare, New Delhi as Senior Consultant - Paediatric Orthopedic Surgeon; Fortis Memorial Research institute, Gurgaon as Senior Consultant- Paediatric Orthopedics
