Dr Adil Obeid

Senior Nephrologist in Dubai and Medical Director of AMSA Group is Dr. Adil Obeid. He is one of the most well-known nephrologists in the Gulf with 40 years of experience in both internal medicine and nephrology. He received broad and extensive experience in internal medicine working in the Middle East/Gulf region (U.A.E) for well over two decades, including more than a decade in exclusively British run hospitals in the U.A.E. He was trained in Khartoum teaching hospitals in various fields of medicine, in particular, the tropical diseases hospital which was affiliated with the national research council and the institute of tropical medicine at the time. He is credited with creating the first dialysis centre and the nephrology department in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
